There is something about French designer/artist Julie Thevenot's line"Rabbit On the Run" that's going to make you want every last peice of her collection. She established her brand in 2008 focusing mainly on experimentation and research in large format cutting and folding techniques and developing an unexpected symmetry. Dominating her line are Navajo and Ethnic Patterns and prints over natural materials like silks and organic cottons.

Sunita Tunic in Off White
The reworked shapes become singular and visually challenging, synthesizing primitive iconography with ultra contemporary/cosmic ideation. Production of the prints are hand-made, and the cuts are familiar yet over-sized, conceived with neutral & natural materials in mind to complement the motifs. Rabbit On The Run opens itself to boundless sources of inspiration maintaining a jubilant, playful, futuristic, and distinctive sensibility.
Julie Thevenot holds a MFA from the National Superior School of Decorative arts of Paris and integrates her artistic training into her working process. Managing to find her own space in the creative world, she opts not to adopt habits of the archetypal fashion designers. Thevenot left Paris for New York City where she felt a kinship with its « always-on » functionality and supportive energy within a competitive environment.
This line is now available to purchase at the boutique.
